CALVARY DOWNTOWN OUTREACH

South Hills, along with other area churches, partners with Calvary to provide environments where all who are in the inner city area can come worship the Lord and receive solid Biblical discipleship.  Through Calvary’s efforts each week, hundreds of people in need not only receive hot meals, but also a place to worship and come to know the love of Jesus.  South Hills sponsors the meals and service quarterly, both financially and by sending a team of volunteers to serve.

There are two shifts for you to serve.  The set up and prep shift is from 9am – noon.  From 11am – 2pm is the serving/tear down shift.  It is important that if you sign up for the second shift, you need to stay until the end of the service to help tear down and pack up.  If you wish, you can serve the entire day, from 9am – 2pm.

Students are welcome, but middle school or younger can only work the early food prep shift, and anyone 18 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.  Please call Janice at 616-6700, with any questions.  Learn more about Calvary here.
